Our Coaches

  • Jill Kern

From a young age, Jill has enjoyed coaching children in a variety of activities. Over the last 13 years, Jill has instructed children in swimming, dancing, gymnastics and acrobatic stunting. She started her career part time in the Aquatic Department at the Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center to get her through college (UT Arlington Exercise Science Degree) and loved it so much that she moved to full time. After the Baylor Tom Landry Center changed owners and underwent a major pool down size, Jill found her way to Moody Family YMCA. Now she is thrilled to be opening Swim with Jill LLC to continue her passion for teaching swim to children. Jill finds the varying ages she encounters in the water to be something she truly cherishes and enjoys. Jill thrives teaching individuals how to move their bodies in a healthy way on land, in the air, and in the water.

  • Kim Saroni

Kim has been passionate about swim lessons and began teaching others to swim when she was just 13 years old! Being a timid swimmer when she was first learning to swim as a child, she knows being safe, comfortable, and confident in the water is a lifelong skill to foster. Kim swam competitively throughout high school and competed in Junior Olympics in Long Beach, CA not far from where she grew up. Kim works with beginners just learning to swim all the way to competitive swimmers looking to improve their technique, times, and racing skills.
